If your set features anything from country to jazz fusion or anything in between, Cianan Reed is the drummer you need to call. Hailing from Franklin, Tennessee, Cianan grew up immersed in a rich musical environment, surrounded by talented musicians drawn to the vibrant Nashville music scene. His drummer bio dates back to middle school when he started performing at various venues with a diverse range of bands and genres. Recently, Cianan has hit the road with Canaan Smith, Mason Ramsey, and The Henry Cruz Band, traveling between the two coasts. His exceptional drumming can be heard on The Henry Cruz Band’s latest album, The Big Nashville Record, showcasing his skill and the quality of his music gear.

This talented drummer, hailing from Franklin, Tennessee, grew up surrounded by musicians drawn to the vibrant music scene in greater Nashville. Cianan began drum lessons in 2nd grade, and his passion flourished in middle school as he joined his school’s concert band and his church youth band, participated in Nashville Jazz Workshop Summer Camps, and formed his own band with friends.
Cianan Reed's drumming influences include legends like Vinnie Colaiuta, David Garibaldi, and John Bonham. Whether he's laying down a steady pocket with a country backbeat or showcasing his skills on a fusion groove, his approach centers on complementing the song's style. Known for his flexibility and adaptability, Cianan excels in various genres and settings, both on the road and in the studio.
Recently, Cianan has toured with acts such as Canaan Smith, Mason Ramsey, and The Henry Cruz Band, performing at venues like the CMA Fest, the BOK Center, Gilley’s Saloon, and the Grisley Rose. His drumming can be heard on The Big Nashville Record, the latest album by the Henry Cruz Band.
Currently in his senior year as a commercial music major at Belmont University, Cianan is also a member of the top Jazz combo. He is set to perform on a cruise called “The Country Cruising” alongside acts like Trace Adkins, Clay Walker, and Locash. In addition to his collaborations, Cianan Reed is working on creating his own original music, showcasing his diverse talents as a multi-instrumentalist, with his favorite music gear at hand.

For jazz performances, he often turns to the Zildjian 22" Kerope Ride and the Zildjian 20" Kerope Sizzle Ride, showcasing his versatility and expertise in drumming.
